Look at all of those BOXES!
All of the orders shipped out Friday! They should arrive to you all soon.
Chances are we made some mistakes. I know for sure there are a few people who preferred loose bookplates that I affixed by accident, and I know some folks with the Patreon pin got one with the wrong name on the backing card (my helpers didn't realize there were names on there for a bit, whoops!). But we did our best to be as accurate as possible! If you're missing something or got the wrong thing, please do not hesitate to reach out. We'll fix it however we can, ASAP!

Hello from the sea of boxes that is my house!
Guests who want to sit on my couch are in for a bad time
I think we have managed to pack about 2/3 of the orders so far, possibly a little more? It's very exciting! I won't be able to ship them out today as I had planned because the con crept up on me and I have a lot to do for that!
So many boxes...
Basically, I forgot about the whole "it's polite to give folks 48 hour notice to lock addresses" thing until I went to lock the addresses. "Aha," think I. "I'll just give the notice now, lock the addresses on Thursday, and pack the orders in the meantime! Then I can just affix labels and be done."
I did not anticipate how...many...orders there are to pack, haha!
These pictures were all taken early yesterday, so there are probably 3x as many boxes packed since then!
Anyway, the upshot is none of the boxes are alphabetized yet so it would be hard to properly assign labels to the right boxes without a lot of work, cuz I'm a derp and lost track of my system maybe 50 orders in.
(Plus I think I need to order more supplies. I underestimated what I'd need!)
Anyway, I'm going to focus on con prep and enjoying this weekend, and then I'm going to rest for a day or so, and then me and my friends will be back at it! These will ship, for sure, next week. And woe betides the postman who comes to pick up my order.

Hello all! I know it's been a little bit since the last update so I wanted to let you all know what's going on!
Status: Everything has arrived except the books, which should be coming, hopefully, next week. All pins have been assembled on backing cards and placed in plant-based wrappers. 90% of the keychains have similarly been assembled and packaged. I have 13 book sketches left to do!
Ta da! Here are the two keychains in their packaging!
Everything is made as recyclable as I am currently able to do.
I made my life a lot harder with adding those dangling stars, but it was SO WORTH IT!
Due to a supply shortage, some of the Goodnight/Sleeptight keychains have Heart Clasps, but the majority have Star Clasps.
You can see what my table looked like yesterday while I was working on packaging with my friends.
Sooooo much packaging!
Meanwhile everything else has been sitting and waiting for fulfillment day to come.

A couple days ago, all the bookfold boxes arrived and... what a huge pile of boxes, wow!
That's, like, nearly hip high to me, a 5'4" woman.
And of course all the prints and stickers are waiting nicely in their packages.
The sketch card designs are all there, bundled in those stacks.
As far as I'm aware, the books should have shipped early this week and will hopefully arrive sometime next week. I don't have tracking info though, so maybe they haven't shipped yet? Hmm.
Either way I'm going to try to get at least a majority of the orders fulfilled before GeekGirlCon on November 16th and 17th. If I can't manage that, then it'll be shortly after the con. Right now the only thing I'm waiting on is just... books!

The first products are comin' in! And the verdict says... STICKERS!
I'm still waiting on the revised quote from the printer so that I can get manufacturing going on that. Thankfully, it's being printed in Canada so I won't have to worry about long boat times from China or the big holiday the second half of September!
I also am probably switching away from my old keychain manufacturer, Vograce. They do phenomenal acrylic keychains with lots of fancy stuff, but I'm trying to angle my business greener. If I'm gonna be selling stuff the least I can do is try to reduce my impact. Vograce is in China, which means extra emissions for shipping it across the ocean; they don't, as far as I know, use recycled plastic; and with the upcoming tariffs/tax situation, ordering from China is going to get much harder.
So I'm giving Zap Creatives a try. They use end-of-life recycled plastic and ethically sourced materials. They're in the UK which is still an overseas emissions cost, but it's significantly reduced from China. Unsure of how tariffs will affect it, but if I'm gonna sell acrylic keychains, I'm gonna sell recycled ones gosh darn it.
I've got a sample coming in the mail and if I like their quality, that's what I'll go with. This means that the Goodnight/Sleep Tight keychain won't be holographic on one side like I'd hoped, but it's a small price to pay!
I had to do some rearranging on the tote to make sure it all fit! The tote bag is now a "shoppers tote" so it's made for groceries. And ignore what it says there, I felt the sparkly gold wasn't a high enough contrast, so it'll be printed in forest green instead.
Anyway those are printing and on their way as well!
Everything at this point is ordered and in production except the books and the keychains. I'll keep you updated as I learn more!

The book is ready for printing! PDFs should be distributed shortly via BackerKit. Yay!
